Small Business Development Center Partners

The services of the Cuesta College SBDC are made available to the community through the generous contributions of its financial sponsors.

Cuesta College Cuesta College makes lifelong learning happen. We enable students to achieve their academic, transfer, workforce preparation, career advancement, and personal goals. Building on our tradition of excellence, we serve our community by providing programs and services that produce students who can succeed in a diverse and rapidly changing society, participate effectively in their local communities, and live responsible and rewarding lives. As a learning college, we provide a supportive environment for students and employees, assess student and institutional outcomes, improve performance, forge strategic partnerships, and maximize opportunities for learning.

UC Merced SBDC Regional Network The UC Merced SBDC Regional Network provides quality management and technical assistance for existing and potential small business resulting in success for the entrepreneur and sustainable economic growth and prosperity for all Central Californians. SBDC assistance is tailored to the local community and the needs of individual clients. Each center develops services in cooperation with local SBA district offices to ensure statewide coordination with other available resources. Qualified individuals recruited from professional and trade associations, the legal and banking community, academia, chambers of commerce and SCORE are among those who donate their services.

SBA The Office of Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) provides management assistance to current and prospective small business owners. SBDCs offer one-stop assistance to individuals and small businesses by providing a wide variety of information and guidance in central and easily accessible branch locations. The program is a cooperative effort of the private sector, the educational community and federal, state and local governments and is an integral component of Entrepreneurial Development's network of training and counseling services.

Economic Workforce Development The Small Business Development Center Initiative mission is to assist prospective and existing small business owners in California to start, retain, or expand their businesses, thus strengthening California's economy and increasing wealth and quality of life. Self employment through small business ownership is vital to California's economy. Small businesses create jobs and positive impacts in every community. The Small Business Development Centers facilitate the creation, expansion and retention of businesses.
