Government Contracts & Procurement

Doing business with the Government
This four hour workshop will cover the fundamentals of how a small business can do business with any federal and state government agency.

Government agencies buy billions of dollars worth of products and services each year. Many government agencies require that some percentage of their procurements be set aside for small or disadvantaged businesses or offer them incentives and preferences. This workshop provides:

1) Step by step instructions on how to become a government supplier
2) How to find federal and state business opportunities
3) An overview of the rules and regulations that need to follow

This workshop is designed for established small businesses who want to expand their market to include the government sector. The government purchases everything from office supplies to satellites and everything in between.

The emphasis of this workshop is on doing business with agencies in federal and state government. These same principles can be used for other public entities such as cities, counties, and other public agencies.

Fee: $75
